Robot Paints the Queen's Portrait

I just read about how computers can write books now -- all genres, I guess. I don't recall where I read it.

The portrait of the Queen is amazing, considering a robot painted it. But it doesn't nearly do the Queen justice. Nor does it come close to being as wonderful as the Old Masters and later than 1800, of course. I am always astonished when I go to an art museum ... thinking how does anyone accomplish works of art like this! I also wonder if anyone could do it today, but think several must be able to.

I know what you mean wheaten lover, I too thought that it was
a bit ropey, but in the end, I decided that it was quite good for a
computer, to have done it.

Mike.

Oh, I agree. It just kind of chills me to think that someday, maybe computers will be doing the creative work. Meanwhile, we will be making sure they are plugged in, so to speak. Not really, I'm pretty sure they won't need to be plugged in.

Amazing technology....and interesting results.

I used "Dynamic Auto Painter" for Win 10....an AI painting program with different styles. I choose the Van Gogh style to paint the Queens portrait

It's called "Gogh Queen" :)
