I would spend the day checking out the market and sunbathing on the beach with my daughter in Turkey, then go out for a lovely evening meal, a walk along by the beach listening to music from various bars, calling in at our favourites and ending up at the nightcap bar,.......its been too long...

Go horseback riding on a mountain trail....
I would like to go to the top of a mountain and be all by myself. Take a lunch and a towel to lie on during high noon of the day. Lay down on the towel naked and soak up the sunshine. Get a nice all-over suntan and make my skin tougher so I would be more resistant to illnesses and other bad effects of the world.

No chance, it would have to be for a week!!
I'd ride a 500cc Norton up the hills and down the glens of Scotland with a lovely lady from this forum riding pillion. We'd stop at all the best watering holes and perhaps do a bit of ceili dancing.

I would do that, too, if it was only for a day.
I grew up riding my horse in the mountains of north Idaho, and I would love to be able to spend a day doing that again. Let’s ride for the day together, @oldaunt !
Now , if it was for a week or more that I could run away, then going to the beach is a wonderful idea. I got to go to Hawaii with my daughter a few years ago, and I would go there again in a heartbeat if it were possible to do this magic trip.

Off to Daytona to put some time in on the track in one of the "rent a race car " deals. Limited to 150 mph, but still a good adrenalin rush, for $600 bucks and a nice beef steak dinner afterwards. JimB.,

A spa somewhere where I'd get a massage....or two or three....and every treatment on the list. Hot rocks, seaweed wrap, exfoliation, facial, you name it.

If you were in Scotland, surely it would be Ceilidh ? You'd better make sure you had plenty of fuel as both petrol stations and watering holes are few and far between.Run Away..... for day?
