All the above sound good, but the 2 tied for first place with me are BLT and French (Beef) Dip. With a side of fries (chips), of course.

The other choices all smelled nasty by the time I cracked open that lunchbox at noon.

Fresh baked bread margerine [couldn't afford butter] ketchup & sliced onion. Later when I was helping with household expenses hamburgers with all the fixings on fresh bread.

As a kid I was a picky eater. The three sandwiches that were put in my brown paper bag for lunch at school were tuna fish, bologna with mayo, liverwurst with mayo....all on white bread with the ends cut off. Don't know how my mother put up with me, lol.

I like egg salad now, but for some reason my mother diced up olives into the mix, I can't abide eating an olive to this day, maybe because I tried to eat the pimento once, that was nasty as sin! BLT by far my favorite.
