Sardines- Gen Z Seizes an Opportunity

When my children were very young, and I was sick of cooking and out of ideas, we would have what we called a “living room picnic “. I would throw a tablecloth on the living room floor and we‘d gather around with cans of sardines, cheese, crackers, and olives. Maybe some raw veggies and a can of Vienna sausages.
The kids enjoyed it, I think because it happened rarely and they felt they were getting away with something.
