Save The Earth says the Brits.

Being seniors and needing to pee several times every night, we save the planet but following the maxim "If it's yellow, let it mellow." One flush in the morning is all that is needed rather than up to 5 or 6 between us during the night hours. It is also quieter and less likely to disturb someone who is actually asleep.
 
I'm glad the cheap plastic bags have more or less gone at supermarkets. There used to be so many of them blowing around the countryside, I have noticed that the trees and hedgerows are no longer festooned with them. We all take our own bags to the store, or use the strong plastic ones that only cost 10pence to buy and they give you a new one when they wear out.Less plastic is made and less thrown around.
 

Odd isn't it; oil prices are dropping; so everybody uses more....
2 newspapers in UK are warning about the coldest winter in UK for 100 years; I am confused.

Vivjen, haven't heard that warning about the coldest Winter, but if that's what they are saying [met office] I guess it will be the oposite.:playful:

Daily Mail insists that we will be snowed in by the middle of November...
