I watched the BBC Sports Personality of the Year tinight
and saw this young boy, he is a joy to any/everybody.

He has Cerebral Palsy, yet enters "Triathlons", he won
the Helen Rollason prize.

It is given for outstanding achievement in the face
of adversity.

Here are twoabout Bailey Mathews, the first is him
completing a triathlon, (viewed 81+ Million times on YouTube),
the second is receiving the award.

I used to see a young blind man who did triathlons in my area. He would swim and run with a companion and then ride a tandem bike with another athlete. His poor dog was frantic the entire time he was in the race, waiting for him to come back from each leg.

Just as our faith-in-humanity suffers enough blows to make us jaded, comes a story such as this.
There are many such stories. It's too bad more isn't made of them rather than the distressing stuff.
