I politely disagree with a number of you here. I like you all, but have different beliefs on this subject.

I believe in adoption, not abortion. Sorry, that's me!

I do not comdemn all these baby killers who decide to abort. It's their lives and their unborn babies lives. But, murder is murder, and in my religion, it's a sin, no matter how much you romanticize it with "it's my body, I'll do whatever I want to do with it!"
We have become such a selfish society that we don't care anymore about these babies that, if given a choice, would probably want to live. Isn't life precious? I think it is.

Those who believe in abortions - Aren't you glad your parents didn't abort you?!!! I am proud of all the parents that decided to keep their babies.

I know I will get a lot of negative comments because of my views, but this is a free country, and I can speak up just like everyone else, and I apologize if I stepped on any toes, but no one can sway my decision, Yes, babies with disabilities have been born. My one sister is such a person. That does not make them less human. They have a right to live just like everyone else. Why abort a fetus if it's NOT PERFECT? Who are we to judge who gets to live and who doesn't?

On a personal basis, having adopted, I am one glad parent that the biological mother did not abort but gave me and my husband a chance to give my son a life. He has been the best blessing I've ever experienced.
We are all God's children. People make mistakes and have children out of wedlock. But why do the children have to pay for their mistakes? ADOPT NOT ABORT!

I might not reply if you reply to me. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Are they actually "killing" the baby after it is born and out of the womb ??

Isn't that out&out murder ?

Are we sure .... for certain sure , that this actually happens ?

This was a more recent decision after the initial one of the 24 weeks decision.. However, since it left a bad taste in many mouths, it has been batted around and now tabled for the moment as I have been led to believe.

You don't apparently understand. I would not have aborted any of my children even though 4 pregnancies in 4 years was difficult. I would never tell a woman that she didn't have the right to her own body, I would now tell her that men now have the right to tell her what to do with her body. If you don't like abortion then do not have one!

By the way had my parents decided to abort me, it would have saved me a lot of some horrid experiences at the hands of my parents, and I would never have known they did it.

Hours after viable birth means NO aid to the baby, no tubes, no cpr, no nothing. It does mean not taking any action. Believe me, I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

If the baby is viable, why would there need to be "no aid"? Sounds to me like a baby that is not truly viable.

I know at least two women that have suffered a lot of trauma after choosing to abort their unborn child. Sometimes causing regret and a life time of regrets.

Yes I am sure a lot of women regret aborting an embryo, I have tried to convince many men that women actually give a lot of thought to having an abortion. Not many just use abortion as birth control. Something else the Extreme Court may decide is evil........birth control.

my original son was raised and has enjoyed a full life working and living his wishes.
