But the phenomena of wildlife isn't restricted to sea lions. Man who has over built in just about any environment out there has forced or should accept that the local wildlife and man's world will overlap. I've seen deer and foxes hangout near a house like it's their own. It shouldn't be a shock or catastrophe. Gators and now snakes seem to be the biggest danger when man & nature's worlds overlap.
 

People who deny climate change deserve to get tail slapped. This poor little sea lion is just the tip of the iceberg...the vanishing iceberg. Around here the push is to use any wooded area for profit. Condominiums and chain stores bring in the big bucks. But the woodland creatures still try to exist. Best buddy lives in a heavily populated suburb. There is a female deer who has lived in the back of the grade school playground for 8 years. She allows herself to be hand fed and neighbors leave out food and water.
She's had babies over the years so she's not alone either.
 
I'm glad that there are people to give them some help. Poor babies.

Beats clubbing them for their fur.
