πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰ I'm a Christian who enjoys crafting, writing, arting, amateur photography, designing printables and digitals with my graphic design programs and container gardening. My life is filled with creativity everyday. I used to make handmades and sell them online. Now, I only make them for my use and for gifts. I do put my printables and digitals online. I also like to read, bake, grill out, fish (freshwater) and walk.

I did van-dwelling 2 years ago. I had planned to start out in a cargo van, like a Ford E350, but had to settle for a minivan. I took out the middle seats and did a no-build build to set up my living space. I traveled in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona and boondocked for 8 months in the Nevada desert. I had been following Cheap RV Living and other road-life YT channels for about a year. I had planned to venture out after I had learned the basics. It was exciting and I enjoyed getting first-hand experience in the life.

I look forward to reading more posts here and participating. πŸ’»πŸ‘πŸ½ Seems to be an active senior forums.

A humid, tangled jungle can be uncomfortable here and there, even claustrophobic and sometimes dangerous at times, but it beats a parched, dry desert-land where no person can be found for thousands of miles! πŸ˜„ You know how it is on most social sites now. Only a few crickets. More fun to explore a jungle! Thanks for the welcome. πŸ‘πŸ½

I wish I had as many interests as you!

πŸ˜„ Quite overwhelming at times but I guess I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my creative activities and projects. Just not enough hands and though I'm retired and free, time still seems to be flying by! β°πŸ’¨ The day is over and I often feel like I didn't get nearly as much done as I wanted. But I always comfort myself by saying your days are free to live as you please and you have no obligations to anyone nor deadlines, so it doesn't matter. Thank you for the kind welcome. I'm very happy to be here and that it's SO active. I've seen you quite a bit and look forward to seeing you again. πŸ‘‹πŸ½

I liked camping in my Blazer in Utah in the late 70's / 80's. Also Lake Mead. Hills away from Malibu beach and the Big Sur.

Wow, you were doing it well before Bob Wells/Cheap RV Living fame! I think I passed Lake Mead access on my way to/from Nevada. Though I van-dwelled full-time for about 1 yr, I never planned to do that for life. I do plan to get the cargo van that I wanted and do some day/weekend trips and pt camping. The rain is gone. Snow prediction keeps popping in and out for 3 days next week. I'm watching and hoping for an unexpected couple days of snow like last winter.
