Recently had a security camera installed and was amazed at how good they are, this one I can view this from my PC and also from my Phone(Anywhere).I can turn the light on or off and also the sound and microphone too. It has a 65GB Micro card.I can USB charge it but not really necessary also.. because is solar-powered. Do you have one or two?

Brand? Cost?

Security camera footage is amazing these days. That’s a great view. Nice landscaping by the way. Solar powered is good.

Do we have one or two? šŸ˜‚
We have dozens of them. We have all different types throughout our house both inside and out. We don’t use just wireless since there are such things as internet blockers. We have wired ones with solar power and battery back ups. We have portable ones we switch around to different places and often. We’ve got them outside watching our driveway and every entranceway as well as watching our car and garage. We also have a bunch on our back 40 which we also move around often. The wildlife we see is amazing and we are happy to only see that.
Oh yes! And we have powered lights that are motion sensored.

We need one or two. I'd like one where I could see our house and driveway when we are away. We came home once from vacation a few years ago to find spent fireworks all over the front yard and driveway. Several on the roof left charred marks. No idea who or when.

with the video ring doorbell, I can see everything happening by looking on my phone, even when I'm abroad...also I can talk to whoever is near my door or my gate, and they have no idea I'm not actually in the house

The sheriff's office keeps asking me the same thing and I don't know. I think there is a meth lab across the road. They do not like it that I have moved here. I think it put a crimp in some of their "business" activities and they are trying to run me off.

The apartment building I live has security cameras through out the building and the grounds. When you go in the office there are several screens showing each one. It did come in handy when one tenant had her car stolen and the camera showed her foster sister going into her apartment and coming out with her keys.

Dumb question here. If you have all these cameras, how do you know if someone is creeping up on you? Yeah, you could monitor a screen every minute you are awake, or go low tech and just look out the window, all the time. But assuming you have a life, other than an eternal perp watch, do these cameras notify you of an intruder? I live surrounded by state/national forests, so criminals are kind of rare. I'd like cameras to view wildlife, otherwise it's just watching grass grow.

if you have a wifi router in your home you can use an old android cell phone and alfredcamera software to set up a remote camera that charges on usb and viewable from anywhere..(edit) and it records constantly, has movement sensor and notifies you when it detectes movement and you can download that for later viewing...

You don't actually sit around and monitor them. If something happens hopefully you can go back through the film and get a picture of it. Also, in my case, it has put a stop to a lot of the issues just because they now know the cameras are there.

I've been thinking about getting one to find out who's dog has been pooping on my lawn.
