Selling our house in an extremely “hot” market has been an interesting experience. As we pulled out of our driveway, minutes before the open house, we watched people leave their cars and rush towards our drive way. What was the hurry, I wondered? The house wasn’t going to get up and leave.
And even though there was an open house between 11 and 1, we had a steady stream of appointments before and after the open house. In fact, we had a phone call that we hadn’t confirmed a showing. I asked the agent, when did you send the request, she replied two minutes ago.
. After she hung up, my phone notified me of the request. She had called before I got her text.
Our real estate agent said there was a steady stream of people the entire time and we should receive a lot of offers. We shall see.
