How exciting for us old folks! The slow connection gives us something new to talk about.
Nothing like a fresh one to get old folks posting with excitement.

Thank you for posting this, here. This is what's causing the problem:
Internet services outage leaves websites and apps lagging ...
Thank you, Mack Texas.Early in the day, other sites were normal here too. Then mid morning (my time) some sites started changing for the worse, especially the insurance site I use to pay my bill.
The crash impacted sites reliant upon Amazon Web Services (AWS) - the cloud computing service that hosts countless websites around the world.

Yes, my problems on this site, SF, started before the 3a.m. Amazon outage was reported. It's CRAWLING. I tried to apply a reaction to a post and it took 30 seconds to apply. My WIFI is flying on all other sites - just slow on this one.
Edited at 10:40 CST: I'll just sign out and try some other time. This is taking way too long.
Yes. My problems ...with SF.....

Weighed in on this thread anyplace?
My mistake, sorry - the other post I saw was in this thread from Jules
Yeah 3 daysSorry for the inconvenience, but it's not our forum or server's problem, it should resolve itself shortly.
Wait, it's been 3 days for some members? I thought it's a couple of hours. I didn't find it slow though.
it's been in and out all day here. i was watching paramount plus no problem then all of sudden it quit working.I just had a hard time getting in. I tried several times over about a 15 minute period and kept getting the message that it was "taking too long". I didn't have any problems earlier today.
