Senior Friendship

I have a friend whose 83, we use to work together, friends for 32yrs. The past 2 years we've been more intouch. We've been doing things together. I've been taking her to some of her doctors appointments. Her driving is limited. I really don't mind driving her, we made a joke about it "Driving Miss Daisy". I'm feeling a little bit taken advantage of? She never wants to go where I want, even when I compromise for her? She's going on a short trip to visit friend on a bus. She asked if I'd pick her up when she comes back? I said yes. I took her to purchase her ticket, she made departure tickets for the morning, she assumed I was taking her? She never asked me or took me into consideration what time her bus was leaving? So I would have to get up at 6:am to take her to the bus? How do I tell her to consider me when she needs assistance to Not assume things. She only has 1 son left, he's disabled, so he can't help her. I know she appreciates what I do for her, just would like more consideration. Sorry this was kinda long, thanks for reading

Be honest with her and tell her she needs to consult with you before committing to appointments.

Thanks for writing, don't want to hurt her feelings and honestly I'm a little afraid of her? When we started working together, she trained me, she's was and still is a "Tough old Broad"
