Seniority is lots of fun, when you can remember it and what you were going to do before you forgot what t was you were going to do. In my early days I never forgot anything, unless I wanted to. Today the things I see I could do different. Paul

My short term memory is non existent but recently things have come to mind that happened many years ago. Recently, the name of a personnel manager for Cal Pack came to mind. I met him while I was working a summer job in 1952. The factory was at Mendota, Illinois and was packing corn which came straight from the fields to the factory. My job was emptying cans from a rail car into a conveyer and the memory of that job was very clear.
Remembering that long ago seems strange but I read that it is not uncommon as one gets older

Typical symptoms of getting older and not a necessarily a precursor of anything more severe. I do it all the time, forget a name I heard 5 minutes ago but remember my favorite teach in high school, my first girlfriend etc.
