B - U - T - FUL!
my grandmother would make simple quilts from scraps of whatever favric she had. nothing remotely close to those in the ictures. i went to school when kindergarten was half day... morning half of the year and afternoon the other half. we had "nap time". Nana made each of her grand kids a small quilt... maybe 3X5.
i learned my way around a sewing machine while learning the basics od quilting. she's hand me a battered square of cardboard to trace for square. then i had to put together bundles of 9 squares... no 2 could be the same.
i have a very simple top for a quilt already done. several years ago, Joann's Fabrics had cotton bandannas on sale... pretty sure they were 2/$1.
