Sheri as Matron of Honor

We went to a wedding Saturday. Brooke is my step daughter Sheri’s best friend, and Sheri was the Matron of Honor.

Sheri has been undergoing chemo for breast cancer and so she’s lost all her hair. She was worried about how to deal with that for the wedding. We searched and searched for a bridal-party-appropriate cap (she isn’t wearing a wig) and finally found a lovely one.

Thanks for asking @StarSong. She’s done with her 6 rounds of chemo as of 4 weeks ago. She needed 4-6 weeks of recovery before she’s strong enough to have the surgery for her radical mastectomy and the start of her reconstruction. She’s scheduled for the 7th July.
