Shoes!

We pretty much only wear tennis or walking shoes. My wife got rid of all of her high heels after she fell wearing a pair to a job interview a few years ago. She has some pumps left, but that's it.

I use to get my walking shoes at Walmart, but definitely not anymore. Now I buy them at Academy Sports. I have two pair. Also have a pair of dress loafers, but only wear them if/when we go to church.

We both also have Western "Lace-Up" boots/shoes. Ariat brand.

Love shoes. LOVE THEM.

I wish I could say that all my shoes are "good footwear." Sadly that's not the case.

I don't own anywhere near as many shoes now as I used to. That said, I still own a lot of shoes.

I have waaaayyy too many, and Boots too... I couldn't begin to tell you how many... but shoes are very important to me. Up until i retired I was on my feet for 10 hours a day, in the last year leading up to my retirement last year I got bleddy Plantar fascitis **grrr***...so I haven't worn heels except car to bar, since!!

I tried every type of training shoes I could find to try and relieve the pain until Bingo.. Sketchers Go Go Max with the memory soles..*bliss* ...and now I have 12 pairs of different colours and styles..and wear them almost all the time...although I do wear ankle boots too..

I donated a box of 30 pairs of shoes last year to the charity shop..

but I have at least that.. if not double that still, that I can't bring myself to give up...especially my knee high boots which again I can wear just very occasionally if I'm not walking for longer than 10 minutes!! *sigh*

A good pair of shoes is very important to me since I walk a lot so I own a good pair of spring/ summer ones and fall winter ones.

Ive got a pair of runners for the gym
A few pairs of winter boots - one pair has high heels

And believe it or not I have ONE PAIR of pumps that are white.
I need a black pair.

Sandals I have a few pairs. Some are good quality for walking long distance and some are simply for looking nice in skirts and dresses.

I just recounted, I have 6 pairs of shoes; most of which I never wear. They are all basic.
Good shoes are important since I hate buying them and don't much like wearing them, either.

Good footwear is important to me, I do a lot of walking and my feet are big and wide for a woman, and I've had issues in the past with Plantar Fasciitis, but haven't been troubled with that for many years now. I have around seven pairs of shoes and a good quality sandal that I never wear. I'm usually in sneaker or hiking shoes/boots.

I have third-degree flat feet. Absolutely no arch. I almost couldn’t get into the Marines, but with the war on and the number of enlistees down, not to mention my Dad speaking with the recruiter, even though he was Army, they took me.

Ever since I have been discharged, I have worn orthotics inside my shoes. My one Aunt, when she was alive, would make fun of me because of the number of pair of shoes that I had. My wife had more, but she would tell me that women are supposed to have more.

One question that I always wondered about is why must women buy a new pocketbook whenever they buy a new pair of dress shoes? I mean, isn’t there a time when enough is enough? Then, every few years, my wife will donate some of her pocketbooks to the church’s rummage sale.

My father had flat feet which is odd because I have fairly high arches that I’m grateful for.

Now what are pocketbooks? For very special occasions I have at times purchased a matching handbag / purse to go with shoes but that isn’t the norm for me. Many women do this so they are matching when they go out.

And it’s a funny question coming from a man who probably has far more shoes than I?
Just sayin’

The insects were loading the bus to their annual convention.....except the centipede. Someone called into him and asked him what was taking so long. The centipede said "I'm tying my shoes."

So many shoes so little time. I don’t know how many pair I have, many of the high heeled variety. A dozen pair of boots. I am blessed with narrow feet with a very high long arch which is well suited to heels, that said, I now normally wear two inch heels for work etc, saving the stilettos for nights out. So far, no problems. I do wear sketchers if my back is out.

While I don’t wear heels often I do like how feminine they feel.
They make us walk differently which can look and feel nice.
My high arches can handle them also but i usually prefer one to two inch heels myself.
Plus if I wear my highs I’m towering over my man  so usually tone it down.

Lol. I am am 5’2” so I don’t tower very well.

I think I have about 12 pair including sneakers and slippers. Also 2 or 3 pairs of boots. I'm sure that's not a lot compared to some.

Way too many, but I do wear them all. They are almost all from Naturalizer, as I find them very comfortable. I find Nikes comfortable for me. If I find a comfortable shoe, I often buy 2 or 3 colours in the same style. Same for boots and sandals.
