If memory serves me correctly, probably not, I was thinking only 2-3 officers were killed in that ambush. When I get over to the Academy again, I can pull up the FBI stats. They keep a tally on police deaths. In retrospect, I think more cops died from COVID the past few years and not bullets.

yes but I was just posting the similarity between the police lured to their deaths in CT to the one that @Warrigal posted which happened in Australia
 
We have ambush killings of cops a few times each year. Back in 2016, we had 12 cops shot with 5 or 6 being killed in Dallas
 

Holly: When are you coming to the U.S.? My wife and I would enjoy having you as a guest for however long you care to stay. You just need to bring some of your pictures along. We both enjoy your scene shots. If you come, we would show you a great time and travel around a little. Maybe we can get oldman to join us with his wife. Wouldn’t that be a blast? If you come over, I would recommend June or September. Those are our best temperature months. Our summers here are hot and humid. As we drive around, you would think you were back in merry old England. A lot of English settled in this area, along with Germans and a few Irish.

Bless you 911.. I know you've been asking for a while, and Oldman too.. I will very much love to come but until all our problems with airports and flying are over in the UK, I can't make any plans. Even now as we speak the Baggage handlers and airport staff are going on strike this week.. it's just appalling.. We've no sooner started to fly after the 2 year shut down due to Covid, and we have these strikes.. but as soon as I'm able I will definitely take you up on your kind offer, and come and visit.. (y):D

We will be looking forward to it. My wife said not to forget the pictures. I told her that Holly will probably bring her computer along.
 
Appears the suspect recently had a heart attack and was involved in a cheating scandal. He had a reputation for fixing problem schools.

Speculation but they say some who experience a heart attack or come close to death become depressed realizing their mortality. If so wonder if he was given an anti depressent. The young mass killers in particular were found to have been treated with SSRIs. The heart attack was probably the trigger and started him on this path.

This turkey looks just like the guy that murdered 4 aborginal women in Winnipeg, Canada. That ugly, unkept beard seem to be the common factor. Fortunately, Canadian school principals don't kill people as far as I know.

Criminal scum frequently are great actors and/or seem to know their limits in most cases. Serial killers charm or fool people all the time. And people say 'Yeh I knew there was something wrong' but that's either an attempt to be part of the story or show they weren't fooled. Also many ignore 'unique' or odd behavior because they see too much of it especially now a days.
 
It doesn't take 4 cops to do a welfare check, so the police must have suspected something. Shooting at police is one thing, but executing them is another leve., Can't say that there are any tears for the three dead criminals
