After nearly 60 (the video is six years old), these guys still sound like they're having the time of their lives!
If you watch interviews with these guys from the '70s, they haven't changed very much, which shows how grounded they were. Keith Moon and John Entwistle were the band members who'd go out drinking and spent their free time partying while Pete and Roger focused more on creative pursuits and their families.
I have to admit, for some reason, when I was young, I didn't really get into The Who. The whole "pinball wizard" concept turned me off, and it still does, but their music from The Who Live at Leads era is timeless. I think that's when they were at their peak, creatively and as a band. It was before drugs took their toll on Keith Moon. Musically, they continued to evolve.
That's one of the great things about the digital age in which we're now living... We can go back and experience things we missed when they were happening.
