I just read somewhere ..a woman was talking about a big wedding she'd gone to, and everyone stood in the church watching the happy couple repeating their vows, and as the vicar pronounced them man and wife , both of them simultaneously swapped their cellphones with each other to update their status on Facebook!!!! :rolleyes:

Didn't happen when my granddaughter was married earlier this month.
No mobile phones at the ceremony or the reception.

I'm sure the Facebook status has since been updated.

Just checked. She has changed her name and indicated that she is now married to her husband. Quite reasonable IMO
 
I would do the same if I knew how to use Facebook! I really must try to get a grip on it.

Diverting slightly on the subject of cellphones, one often reads of folk finding things they're not meant to see when answering their partners phone.

This always surprises me.

I would no more think of answering someone else's phone, married to them or not, than I would think of opening their mail.

Am I unusual?
 
But you should be warned that it will be a nude ceremony on the beach, or maybe that could fill you with anticipation...
 
It would better than most of those adult sites that you frequent...
