My son was born in 79. He was going through some of my old albums one day and came across that one. He was amazed that Paul Simon used to play with someone.

I've heard of kids who were stunned to hear that Paul McC was in "another band" before Wings!!

I think most everyone, at least those our age, were very familiar with Wings. It was pretty big, not Beatles big, but big enough. If McCartney was doing something, be it with Beatles or anyone else, we were paying attention.

Simon and Garfunkel are my favorite artists! Always have been since I first heard them back in the 1960's. I have heard everything they have recorded...and I own most all of their albums.

I'm old. I remember when it was popular. KQV was a Pittsburgh radio station. My first concert was KQV Shower of Stars. Wow, what a lineup. These two unknowns were in the show and sang their first song which was just being released: Sounds of Silence. Gave me chills.
