I've tried about every hallucinogenic drug I could get my hands on when I was in my late teens. Mescaline, mushrooms, peyote, micro dot, those were all garbage compared to good LSD. In my opinion the high wasn't even comparable, taking those other drugs would give you a buzz but good LSD was an event unparalleled.

I’m not sure what type of LSD you took but purple micro dot and windowpane were the best LSD you could get back then. This was around 1975-1977.
