I admire him one because he knows no limits to a challenge and second he threw a glass of water in Mark Cuban's face in an episode of Shark Tank.
Me too, always in the news with his stunts and rescues. I just took him for a rich nut that liked rock n roll like me.How come I've heard of him for years? He was always doing daredevil stuff, risking his life with stunts; governments had to pay to rescue him and he never paid back---not that he legally had to. He's okay as billionaires go. At least he likes rock n roll.
"the edge of space" to me that meant not into space. So he took a very expensive plane trip for one hour.
I think they said they were weightless for 4 minutes. Did the Blackbirds or U-2 pilots go high enough to be weightless. Granted it was the edge of space but still space. That's the way I see it as well........a high altitude 'flight'.
I think our spy plane pilots do that regularly ?

Acts like these progress the entire human race, eventually. The Rich backed the explorers from Europe, for example, which enriched them further, but they dragged us serfs along the way.Well, somebody has to say it: Don't these billionaires have anything better to do with that amount of money?
There might be weightlessness at 100K ft which is the alleged Blackbird maximum height capability but they say Branson's flight reached 53.4 miles or 282,000 ftYes they do,see link.

And the Blackbird fly's even higher, again, see link.

Did N.A.S.A. announce him as an astronaut ? If not, he is not , IMO

he lives i suspect in modest 2 bedroom condo !
Me too!If I were quite a bit younger...and filthy rich...I would be standing in line to take one of these "adventures".
