So happy with the way our master b/r turned out!!

Wow Ronni.
That looks fabulous.
Is that the same grey colour as I had for my room
I like how you added the main colour to the floor.
Very smart looking.

WOW! You seem to have a flair for decorating. Ron also did a good job. He gutted out the old bathroom? How about pics of the new one.

It's great. I love that carpet!

Nice job, @Ronni.
Thanks @RadishRose! One of my clients gave that to us. I don't know if you know anything about oriental rugs (I sure didn't before I started working for the wealthy) but it's an Oushak, and I know how expensive it was because I helped organize the purchase of it about 20 years ago, shortly after I started working with her. I was blown away when she offered it to us a few months ago, after she redecorated her living room and replaced it with a different one!!! It was a foundational piece as we designed how our master would look.

@Keesha your wall color was the inspiration for the direction we chose to go in with our walls. Until I saw your room and how lovely it looked I was going in a different, and now I think kinda boring, direction!!

Very nice. I love the end tables. Did you do the crochet items hanging on the wall? They really stand out. The room looks cozy and comfortable.
Ron found those end tables in a catalog @Ruth n Jersey and immediately fell in love! He ordered them on the spot, didn't even check with me first lol! He said he just KNEW I'd love them! I wonder what his fallback plan was if I didn't. ;) But I think they're perfect! The crocheted-looking items on the wall are actually wood. I found them in a thrift store, painted baby poop brown, so I worked on them, repainted them an off white and then distressed them some. I'd originally had them in mind for elsewhere in the house, but I decided I like them better right where I had Ron put them!

There's still work to be done in there. The thresholds at the bathroom and closet entrances need to be made, the one at the door to the master needs to be tweaked because it creaks horribly every time you step inside, (there's a step up to the master from the den) and the closet floor still needs to be finished. I also need to get some art up on the walls, and he needs to hang my full length mirror and put hooks on the back of the door. But it's functional, and those things will get done at a much more leisurely pace over the next few weeks.

Ron has been tireless as he's worked on the master. He's managed miracles since May, when he began work on it! Keep in mind that he's 73 and he works a full-time, very physical job, so the only time he's been able to spend on the Master has been weekends and after work at night when he could muster up the energy. The man is a machine!!

I posted pics in the DIY thread I started... click here.... but I was so happy with the master that I decided it needed its own thread!!!
Thanks for the link, I just went to look. GEEZ, you have talent as an interior decorator, I envy you! You have great taste. What you did in that area with the fuse box was very lovely, especially covering it with that beautiful panel.
