So I have a stomach issue,

that is concerning.....pain in lower left internal....started about wed to get severe at times....have had a soreness in that are for a long time but just didn't worry about it..
Now it feels different, and more intense pain even going into my back...pain settles
down when I go to bed, but sometimes is level 7 pain during the day.....anyone have
any ideas?? Weekends a bad time to go to e.r. .......don;)

It would be a good idea to go to E.R. anyway..!!!

@hawkdon Yes, better to have it checked out right away. Dr. Patek24 thinks it could be something with your pancreas (acute pancreatitis). Or maybe IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Did you recently have some kind of food poisoning or gastroenteritis? Oftentimes, post-infectious IBS happens and stays for a few days/weeks. Feel better @hawkdon.
 
A Pain level of 7 out of 10 is pretty severe. The fact that you have had it for a while, and it is now worse is concerning. What is bad in the ER on the weekends?
You may wait a long time, but I would think it is worse on weekend nights rather than daytime.

Most Urgent Care centers do not have a CT scan, but if you have one that does, then go there.

Urgent care will not have blood test results the same day. An ER will have them back in an hour or two.

In the meantime, you will be laying on a stretcher. Bring something to read.
Is there anything urgent for you to stay home today? You can use this time to get a diagnosis and not possibly suffer through the night and need an ambulance. It will not get better on its own. sadly.

Not meaning to butt in, but an Urgent Care I went to a few years ago had blood test results within a short period of time, which means they had a lab in the building.
 
Not trying to make light of it but ....... I had a similar pain experience about a year ago. Believe it or not, it was gas ! I drank about a half a bottle of mostly warm Coke .... Drank it quickly .... And well ..... the pain went up in the air <grin>....

Before I tried the Coke .... I was just about to drive over to the hospital. It hurt that bad.
 
Welp, still here and hanging in there !! Pain is more moderate today, but it still lets me know someting is wrong down there...thinking I will prob go to e.r. on monday, my caregiver
will be here to xport me....so everyone have a great day....
I am just getting older and wearing out.......:D
 
I've had severe digestive pain before, but always took care of it myself, which is why I'm still alive.
There are many simple, effective and harmless remedies that I've successfully used through the years.

That many people with pain put poisons in their bodies and submit to toxic damaging procedures is quite sad.
This is especially hurtful when the person who does that is a friend.

My friend's son had Pancreatitis, and his pain was in the same area. That may not be the problem, but you should have it checked....good luck.
 
I'm betting on a kidney stone. Just sayin'. We already have pancreatitis and diverticulitis.
