Due to my wife's health problems, in 38 years of marriage, we have only once ever taken a vacation. All the other years, we had to save up our sick time and vacation time for those times she was in the hospital or otherwise laid up. So I definitely understand.

Oh, I'm sorry. Perhaps if you look for something small to look forward to it may help you.
It has helped me to try to find something however so small to look forward to like a new show on tv even.

No it's on Netflix. I believe it's called Wentworth and it's about a woman who goes to prison and everything that happens there. It's pretty good so far.

Already had a TURP operation and have been dealing with this for some time. Have been told it's the gift that keeps giving that I acquired from Uncle Sam all those years ago. fingers crossed.

I hope that you were asleep when they did this. I did not have the same full procedure as you, but I was wide awake when they ran that thing up me and the pain was unbelievable. I laid there screaming and cussing the whole time and bleed afterward for several days.
Another acquaintance of mine had the same procedure in an adjacent booth, and hearing me scream didn't exactly help his attitude about the torture that was coming.
My procedure did not take long, there were four men in that room, and three women who were having something else done. The women were all asleep and I was pretty envious.
Anyway, my friend fully recovered and tells me that the procedure did help him an awful lot.
I hope that you fully recover quickly.

I'm looking forward to planting our grape vines in the spring. We prepared the plot and ordered the vines last fall. The plants will be delivered in late April and, with God's blessing, we can look forward to harvesting our own grapes in about three years.

a corner of my back garden.... about 30 minutes ago...
...and the dogs out for their walk earlier... Digs age 11 loved it, (Labradoodle) couldn't get enough snow ( they've lived in Spain all their lives)... he was super excited..
stan- (miniature labradoodle).. age 13 .. not impressed...
..and Pixie.. chihuahua age 10... wasn't phased at all despite it being up to her neck and the one who usually feels the cold more than any of them
