A Melbourne man made quite an entrance into a Police Station.
After the female driver drove the car onto the footpath, through the garden bed and into a Fire Hydrant outside the Richmond Police Station, the male passenger got out and told Officers he was there to retrieve drugs seized from him the day before.
He was again arrested for being in the possession of Heroin. The driver was taken to Hospital.

Well, like they say..."crime makes ya stupid". He's right at the top of the list with the man who wrote his stick up note on the back of his own check (with name and address, of course) when he tried to rob a bank.

While this is too true, I can't say I was ever cured. Yes. I have been stupid during my life time, too. One of the very annoying things I often see seniors do is tell younger people how dumb they are. But, we've been just as dumb. And, the youngsters know it. Look at the state of the world. Who is to blame for that? Best, we instead just hold our tongues and know that we are all the same. Generation after generation. And, in that maybe we can find peace with it all.

Actually...the average IQ has dropped 10 points in the last 15 years or so, according to "they who know these things", so maybe seniors have a valid point. Can you imagine killing yourself doing a TikTok challenge, as so many do?

As I recall there were a lot of kamikazes doing a lot of things to U.S. ships a few generations back. Some folks just have to die for something while others live for something. Strange, I know. But, the world has always been this way.

All of us, including myself, have done some really stupid things, but those episodes don't fully make the person. It sure is fun to point a finger at them (us) though.

Agree with 'kind of scary' part, since we wield so much power over all the other living things. But 'most advanced' depends on your criteria for 'advanced'. Easy to be the 'most' of something if you're the only one doing any defining. And know the ability to define things does not equal 'most advanced' in my mind any more than i think having lots of money and things makes one a fine example of a human being.
