Buying things online, using your debit card in public places, also some folks have reader apps on their phones I think that can read your card from as little as 3 ft away. They can steal your phone number too. Usually they just investigate it and refund your money. Just be careful if you put your PIN number in somewhere. Make sure others can't see it.
