Something I will never be able to explain

Years ago when my Dad passed away, the whole family was in his hospital room. My niece Lisa threw herself on his bed and said "Please God if you let us keep Poppy I'll never ask for a baby again". I pulled her off my dad and said "Stop it Poppy would never want to stay if it meant you couldn't have a baby." A few months later I had
a dream and my Dad and Uncle who both were gone were visiting my cousin Jimmy in the hospital. My Dad saw me and told me not to be upset they were just there to visit Jimmy. Then my Dad said "Tell Lisa a nice little boy is coming her way. Tell her I said 313." The next day I was talking to my Aunt on the phone and she told me my cousin Jimmy was in the hospital for tests. As soon as she said that my whole dream came back to me. I called my niece and told her. A few days later Lisa's brother was in a local store and while he was chatting with one of the workers they mentioned that another worker was pregnant and she had to give up the baby for adoption. My nephew said his sister would adopt the baby. Every thing came true and my niece adopted the boy. The adoption coincidently occurred on my cousin Jimmy's birthday and the courtroom was 313.We found out afterward that the lawyer my niece hired was the sister of the Priest that said my Father's Mass at his funeral. I have always wondered why I had that dream and what does it mean. I can't understand any reason other than it was me really talking to my Dad even though he was no longer alive.

No explanation needed, everything you dreamed about happened,
so you got a message, it is the how you got it that is odd.

I never had a dream/message from anybody I knew that died.

Mike.

Well, as a believer in God of the Bible and how He works in mysterious ways, I'd say that God gave you in particular that dream because of your upset/common sense reaction to your niece's 'questionable' plea. His way of letting you know you were right about Him & that in time you'd see the truth in what you told her and bless you for this through that dream. IMO

Sassycakes, I believe you did get a direct message from your Dad in a dream. Dreams are actually the most common way to get visits from those who have passed on.

I do remember the night that my mom passed, I had a dream that the blinds in her room that were not working opened up and a bright light shone through. That was around 2:00 in the morning. A short time later, we got the call that she was passing and we needed to get to the hospital.

This is not unique. There are very many reports from people who have experienced this kind of thing.

Thank all of you for answering this for me. I felt like I was really speaking to my Dad. I knew how much my Dad loved family and would never want my niece not to have that experience. The boy she adopted will be 23 yrs old in April and he is the joy of her life. He is a wonderful young man.
