watched a show on misheard lyrics was hilarious
after it when i hear many of the songs that were featured ... i hear the incorrect version lol

Rock me Amadeus the repeat the name Amadeus twice but now all i hear is

apple danish / apple danish
 
I buried Paul was really Cranberry Sauce.

The Beatles were recording Strawberry Fields around Thanksgiving and food was on John's mind. Wait a minute... they don't celebrate Thanksgiving in England. Hmmm... I could have sworn that was the story behind it. Maybe it was Christmas.

I thought it was "wrapped up like douche" which I thought kind of self deprecating and didn't get.
 
There's plenty of lyrics I got wrong. One that comes to mind is in the song Superman by the Kinks, the lyric is "I want to save it from the shape it's in", for years I thought the line was "I want to save it from the Mexicans". Honest. I always wondered what they did that the world needed saving from them.
