Billy Connolly is recovering from prostrate cancer, but has been diagnosed with Parkinsons. This may be old news to some, but I just saw it this morning. He is one of my favorites and has been making me laugh for decades. Love that guy!

It's very sad Katy i heard that yesterday and i do hope he has caught the cancer early enough, sad about the Parkinsons. he is a funny man.

Billy certainly squeezed every bit of humour he could from prostate digital examinations .....

I'll bet he uses Parkinsons to good effect too. I pray that it's controllable.

I thought about our comedian Steady Eddy, who - while not in the class of Connolly - has made the best of his disability.

I just saw him in a movie, oh yes, Prince Charming. He was a director for plays on stage, and sort of a womanizer Played opposite Bernadette Peters. I like him to, he can use some foul language in stand-up, the f word is one I don't like hearing, but he is a scream! He played an excellent part in X Files one episode too. He is a very, good actor! Sad to hear of the cancer, but so many have it, my brother for one, has prostate cancer, and there is also parkinsons in our family
