Spooky fog

20201125_172359.jpg20201111_091433.jpgwe always have some fog here, it can be beautiful or eerie..
One night I heard a noise outside around midnight, I went out to see what it was and there was a full moon and thick fog. The moon illuminating the fog.
A dog howled off in the distance and my first thought was The Hounds of Baskerville..🤣
My feet couldn't get my body in the house fast enough! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

We get inversions where we can't see past our yard, and 2-3 years ago, had an inversion move in that lasted for the better part of a week.

It was unreal.

Wouldn't take long for me to get into a real funk related to depression if I had to endure such for any length of time.

I'm from Santa Cruz, California so I was used to the fog that you could see, feel and even smell. Some days it just sat off the coast and then rolled back in in the evening.

I live in the valley now and that low lying fog is no joke. I've driven in it going to and coming home from work. In this area too many don't slow down either when the fog is dense.
