States With the Highest Gas Prices.

California has the most expensive gas in the nation, while Georgia has the cheapest.

They are on the mind of everyone who has to drive, especially as the summer travel season begins: gas prices. The continuing effects of the pandemic and Russia’s war with Ukraine have delivered a one-two punch to the world’s supply of petroleum, causing prices at the pump to jump up to levels last seen in 2014.

The price shown seems in line for N.J. according to what I've seen at the neighborhood gas station and from riding past other stations. Costco's gas may be a little cheaper. My son fills up there as often as he can. Discover had a 5% cash rebate on gas last quarter so I hooked him up with that. He figured that even with the surcharge for using credit, he'd still come out ahead. This quarter, one of my Chase cards has 5% cash back for gas so I gave him that card to use because I won't be using it this quarter. I don't personally feel the pinch because I no longer drive.

and don't forget the renewal of regulations for our own petroleum industry...no pipeline...no new drilling...etc.
And don't forget our exports of Crude and Petroleum Products since March, is 120,789,000 million barrels more than our imports. Gasoline exports during the same period now stands at 16,135,000 million barrels more than our imports.

I am not suffering over the cost of gas, I am not out and about much. Everything I need is close by. I only fill up every 3 to 4 months. Yes, I am that boring.
Not to be a braggart or show-off but: I fill up once a year and hope the gas doesn't go bad! So, I bet I beat you at being boring, too ! HaHa ! (But honestly, I really enjoy your posts.)
