Stupid Pet Tricks. A shoplifter caught in an Ohio Walmart probably going to jail to be booked and released for a misdemeanor theft charge turned it into attempted murder/a felony charge.

Ohio shoplifting suspect tries to shoot police officer at point-blank range in wild bodycam video

Apparently this thug can't maintain a weapon being it misfired 2 times. The cop said he was thinking about shooting him but a nearby security employee was too close and wound up being the hero tackling the suspect.

In some places shoplifting is a ticket now he's guaranteed hard time.

You run into stupid people in every line of work!

Shoplifting is so commonplace in my neighborhood that nobody bats an eye or makes any effort to stop it. The merchants seem to just build it into the price and pass the cost on to us.

Last week, I went to the local Walmart superstore to pickup a couple packages of men’s socks and briefs for the local homeless outreach program.

Every package of underwear that I picked up had a small hole about the size of a quarter where someone had filched a single pair of briefs from the package.

Why not save all that work and take a full package?

I wonder how many people tossed a package into their trolley and never noticed until they got home.

Sounds strange, Aunt Bea. Maybe some weirdo wants to sample different sizes and styles of underwear before deciding which package to steal.
