Sunglasses, do you like wearing them? For many wearing them is a part of ones essence~

I love sunglasses! For me they are a fashion statement. I wear certain ones to go with my outfit. I have many pairs. I have some really cool vintage ones.
I also love the outdoors and live close to the water so I really need them outdoors. I also have dry eye and they protect my eyes from wind as well as the sun.
I wear them even when it’s cloudy.
I'm envious; I rarely have more than one pair at a time. It hadn't occurred to me to use them as accessories. I wonder if the polarized ones come in fun frames.

I didn’t realize how important sunglasses are for preventing visual deterioration. Maybe it wouldn’t have made a difference if I had worn sunglasses earlier; I’ll never know. I‘m very visually impaired after a retinal detachment at age 70. I require sunglasses or a brimmed hat year round.

I wear them to protect my eyes but I do have to wear prescription glasses for driving. I have one pair in my prescription and one set that go over my regular glasses. The sun has become more and more glaring. It does affect my vision, I could easily misjudge distance with the sun in my eyes. I seem to have them on all year long now. I am no longer out and about as much but I always have one or the other with me.

My glass s are reactors lens , I have a pin point/cataract in my right pupil , which makes my eye water with any sun glare …..

I wear them all year round outside regardless of the weather. I do get strange looks but I am a wimp and if doing this slows down my cataracts then I will continue wearing them. My last prescription glasses were transitions which made it a lot easier than having to change ones glasses on going out or coming in.

My everyday specs are photochromic. A photochromic lens is an optical lens that darkens on exposure to light of sufficiently high frequency, most commonly ultraviolet radiation. In the absence of activating light, the lenses return to their clear state.

But they are only for reading for other times I wear sunglasses, they cover a multitude of wrinkles.
I had a pair like that years ago but didn't like them since it took an eternity for them to return to clear when I entered a darker place! I think that's the only time in my life that I wore sunglasses. I hated clip-ons for my regular glasses and didn't like the price of prescription sunglasses.

My blue eyes very sensitive to light. I need sunglasses and the regular eyewear I sometimes use is with the darkening lenses. Sometimes I double wear sunglasses; my regular & I have one pair of sunglasses that fit over them. I rarely wear my regular glasses though. Need new prescription, among a thousand other things I need.

Have many. Rarely wear them for style reasons but always for sunny weather driving and outdoors in bright conditions. As a snow skier, it's a must on slopes.

Cat's eye sunglasses are very sexy. Everything else is chic and elegant if tasteful colors are chosen. Aviator style is sporty and they cover so much of my face I reserve them for days when I look a mess.

Worn year round when driving or outdoor events.
Can only purchase sunglasses in person after trying on.
Often my eyelashes especially right eye will strike the lens. Annoying
Currently only one pair I've had for over 20yrs. Ray Ban Predator
So expensive to replace, I take good care of them.
