Super Bowl LIX..Sn..2/9/25

I'll root for Philadelphia since they are the under dog. My other reason for going with them is political and therefore can't be discussed.

I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Apparently a certain VIP was not as he left early. :)

Yeah...the chiefs didn't get their game together until halfway through the 4th quarter. Oh well....it's just a game.

Or maybe the Eagles let up a little at the end considering they had a 40-6 lead. Anyway, that's how I'm going to spin it.

My son asked me if I was going to watch it, I said no. (But I said I will watch the stupid commercials for it on YouTube later.) The only football game I ever watch is the Iron Bowl, Alabama vs. Auburn. And I haven't even watched that in probably 10 years. I used to watch it with my Grandfather, who was a Coach at Auburn when he was younger. It didn't matter where I was, I would sit and watch the game, and every time anything happened he would call me. He never said anything about it, but I bet those calls cost him a small fortune. He passed away in 1990, so there were no cell phones back then like the ones we have today.

Congratulations to the Eagles fans. I am a Cardinal's fan so I will never know what it's like to the way the Eagles fans are feeling right now and what the Chiefs fan have felt the previous two years. Came close once but.....

Perhaps someday, Mark. Keep dreaming. ☺️

Besides, the Cardinals were so good, back when you-know-who was the QB. 😁

Very gracious of you Mark BUT Eagles fans sure can be thugs! I've heard stories. They don't win or lose with any civilized manners.........

THE most watched...128 million 'fan-atics'
Or some tuning in to say they watched. And too many other stations give up and put on rerun or throw away 'specials'.

The US is going the way of Europe with 'fans' living life vicariously through their favorite sports team like they do with soccer.

I'm stunned with the cost of sports as a fan so many not only watch but buy the clothing, souvenirs etc.

Sounds like the KC coaches couldn't come up with a way to counter Philly's tactics. It's the championship game which might as well been next years first preseason game.
