Suppose you won the lottery. What would you change?

I won the Florida Lotto once and I earned enough to keep me alive for the rest of my years. You have to pick 6 out of 53 numbers. My life didn’t change tremendously, but it did change some. I had my own business and I did very well, so I really didn’t need a bunch more money. Most of it I used to set up in trust accounts for my children and grandchildren.

If I would have been younger, I’m sure things may have been different. I did give some of the money away to my church and community programs. I didn’t squander any of the money and didn’t give “too much” of it away. It was fun to go through, not to mention when you are checking your numbers with the numbers on the balls. You find your self to keep looking at them and checking them over and over.

I'd buy a reasonable house and take in some more cats. Also have a secure outdoor catio built. New car. Some donations. I wouldn't go wild. I'll take a million. But I don't play the lottery. We were given some lotto tickets at work when it was up really high last year

You were ready for the money and it was ready for you. As you stated, would have been different if you were younger. Things has a tendency to happen at the right time for those that are ready for it. Kudos to you!!!!:D

I would change husbands...🤣🤣🤣🤣 (that's my sense of humor)
I would give to different charities, do renovaions to my house, have a vacation home, have trust funds for my grandchildren and future grandchildren - of course with stipulations. Give to my family anonymously..if they knew it was from me, some of them would continue to look for a handout. I would not live a flashy life to draw attention to myself.

Build a community for seniors to include affordable housing, affordable healthcare, supermarket, food and medication delivery, transportation for trips, etc.. I know, I would need to hit BIG :D :D

Change my house.. change my country and buy a new island home... .... get a private plane and pilot so I can travel to anywhere I want on a whim...
What she said, except I'd keep my country always because it is beautiful. I'd try to do some good for others too, if they'd let me. :)

I’d share.

It’s good to have enough money but it would have meant more to me years ago. Money won’t bring anyone back.

Wait ... you can change your body?

With enough money, I can add a little here, lop off a little (ok...a lot) there, raise this, lower that, nip a bit, tuck a bit, brighten this, darken that, squeeze this a little, tighten that a lot, straighten this, curve that, insert this, remove that, and yep, I can change my body.

My own Mom wouldn't recognize me.

However, with the luck I've had so far with the lottery, I'll be limping and waddling along with the body I have until I shuffle off this mortal coil....

I would move to a more isolated spot, but in the same area where I am now. 50 acres with a cabin in the middle. I would donate to a few of my favorite animal sanctuaries, and help my siblings out. Get myself a new truck.
