Take a Ride: Show us some songs about transportation

American folk song about railroad engineer Casey Jones and his death at the controls of the train he was driving.
It tells of how Jones and his fireman Sim Webb raced their locomotive to make up for lost time but discovered another train ahead of them on the line, and how Jones remained on board to try to stop the train as Webb jumped to safety.
Casey Jones - Gene Pitney

His voice is so familiar to me but I don't think it's the one in my head. Who else sings in that style, soft almost whisper taunt to his voice.
uggh the song is slipping almost in my mind to hear it but can't catch it. Did he sing with a band before?

I found the song pecking at my head, not even close in voice just it begins with soft talking Shawn Mullins - Lullaby
