Never Again!
!לעולם לא שוב
To each their own when it comes to body tattoos. I don't like tats never did. Peer pressure worked for 77 of the 78 recruits in the Navy Great Lakes recruit training company I was in. I was the only recruit in my company that wouldn't get one.
Ah, Gary, you're a man of many talents. I can see, in my mind's eye, a great piece that works in your unique bird houses, your place in the woods, your tap room characters, that chipmunk, and some other things relevant to the very interesting character you are.Tattoo For You?
Considered one when I was around 15
Don't know
Still considering
Maybe TG can recommend one for me
Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin'A large piece, on your upper arm, would fit the bill, I believe.
Which is why I haven't done itYou don't need to deface your body to cherish those sentiments.
That sends more of a message. Individual freedom. I was the only one in my class who wouldn't get a brush cut.To each their own when it comes to body tattoos. I don't like tats never did. Now that deserves a best before bar code.
None for me, I want to be different!
That puts me in mind of an old MAD Magazine cartoon- one young adult was saying to another: "I want to be different- just like everybody else!"![]()
No. It's bad enough I got my ears pierced. I left the studs out for a week & the holes grew shut. I can't imagine doing that to my body. I've seen some pretty horrific videos of some pretty serious infections from tats as well. Plus it's against my religious beliefs to have one. I should never have pierced my ears either but that was back when I was young & stupid. As tattoos seem to be getting more & more popular with the younger generation (& some old timers too), are going to get on the band wagon too? Not me! I was never very much for following the crowd. Actually, I don't like them at all. What about you? Some people have told me that when these people hit their senior years (if they live that long) they will really look ugly. There will come a time in their lives when they will no longer look cool or trendy & simply become ugly. Maybe I'm wrong but then maybe I'm not. Haven't seen any 80s plus loaded with tattoos from head to toe but I guess it's coming.
