I just recently discovered "Ted Talks" and now I am hooked. It's a series of 10 to 15 minute talks on a wide range of subjects where the speakers have all been pre-screened for quality of performance and content.
 

I have listened to a dozen or so of the Ted talks. My son recently discovered them and has been somewhat enthralled. Some of them are good.
 

A side note to Josiah. You seem to be a wise old bird which I find myself agreeing with more often than not. Could it be I've got more on the ball than some thought or give me credit for? Are is it too an illusion?

I've no doubt you do and you may still not be doing yourself justice. What confuses me though, is that I always see you in the form of your old Marlboro Man avatar and I suspect you're a more complex individual than the personae I attach to that laconic cowboy image.
 
I love TED talks but don't really watch them that often. I've probably seen at least three or four dozen and almost always find them interesting in some way. You can get to TED talks by going to https://ted.com and they have multiple ways of finding talks that might interest you. There are also TED apps for phones and tablets.

When I'm travelling I'll download some TED talk videos onto my phone and/or tablet and play them on the plane. I'm unlikely to do that in the near future.

I've watched many Ted Talks over the years.
For some reason, I thought of "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch, which is on YouTube.
