First of all, I enjoy laughing. And you all always make me smile and laugh. Bella, you had me in tears from laughing. So much, that hubby wanted to know what I was laughing about. He read every single reply to the thread and LAUGHED as well.

Lastly, I want pics of all of you who are willing to eat rats. Somehow, I don't think you'll indulge.

Rabbits do not belong to the Rodentia order, they are lagomorphs (Lagomorpha order). This is because a rabbit has four incisors in the upper jaw (including two non-functional teeth), while rodents only have two. Both rabbits and rodents each have two lower incisors.

My grandma fried the rabbits they are as good as chicken but meatier. They have rabbit in the freezer meat section in the grocery stores here.

Really? Not me. I only eat chicken and beef, and once in a very great while, pork. Unless lobster is meat -- that's my favorite. I never eat veal, which I realize is beef. I don't eat anything from Thailand, in particular. Say I decide to try fish. If it says caught in US Waters, the catch is that it is packaged in Thailand. I've read about their fishing industry and practices, and it was not good news.

I've also read about the way we produce chicken, beef, pork and other meats in the US. It is not good news either. I've not become vegan, but in the last decade, I've cut way down on my meat consumption. I bought a $25 chicken once -- it was properly raised, and I knew the farmer. It tasted like chicken, despite how I'd read the meat was so much tastier when it was free range, organic, etc.

According to the USDA, I need 44 grams of protein a day. My oncologist says to eat 70 grams or more per day. I don't think I can stomach that on a vegan diet. Not that I want to give up meat at least right now. I don't like the way it is raised and produced.
