We won't touch your rats, @Marie5656 .
The "East" can keep them!!! lolActually yes I would even have them for breakfast. They are quite the delicacy in the east. Yummy street food. Very common. But, would I eat them in the street? Would I eat them in a house? A Box? or would I eat them in a car? I think I would eat my Roasted Rice Rats ( RRR for short ) ANYWHERE!

Keto friendly too!
@PamfromTx - I'm glad if I could give you a laugh. Such serious things are happening all around us and to us. We all need a little levity in our lives. I always look forward to your posts. You're easy to have fun with!First of all, I enjoy laughing. And you all always make me smile and laugh. Bella, you had me in tears from laughing. So much, that hubby wanted to know what I was laughing about. He read every single reply to the thread and LAUGHED as well.
Lastly, I want pics of all of you who are willing to eat rats. Somehow, I don't think you'll indulge.

Would you indulge in these rats?![]()
Nathan, I'll be glad to slurp down those raw oysters for ya, but you'll have to share the tequila!

I'd rather stick to something ... like a chocolate candy that I've never eaten.I'd try it. Why not try something that I haven't eaten?
Seems you are right, however nothing is said about taste!Rabbits are not rodents.
My grandma fried the rabbits they are as good as chicken but meatier. They have rabbit in the freezer meat section in the grocery stores here.Seems you are right, however nothing is said about taste!
Why is a rabbit not a rodent?
Rabbits do not belong to the Rodentia order, they are lagomorphs (Lagomorpha order). This is because a rabbit has four incisors in the upper jaw (including two non-functional teeth), while rodents only have two. Both rabbits and rodents each have two lower incisors.

Really? Not me. I only eat chicken and beef, and once in a very great while, pork. Unless lobster is meat -- that's my favorite. I never eat veal, which I realize is beef. I don't eat anything from Thailand, in particular. Say I decide to try fish. If it says caught in US Waters, the catch is that it is packaged in Thailand. I've read about their fishing industry and practices, and it was not good news. Most people who eat meat probably wouldn't care, as long as the head, tail & feet were cut off so it no longer looked like an animal.
I think that might be one of those Urban Legends.. the same rumor was going around in NY back in the 1970s. so some of us humorously referred to the place as Kentucky Fried Rat.There was a rumor that Kentucky Fried Chicken would serve fried juicy pieces of rat instead of chicken many years ago in Uvalde.
When I was a child, we sometimes had squirrel for dinner. Totally grossed me out. Most people who eat meat probably wouldn't care, as long as the head, tail & feet were cut off so it no longer looked like an animal.
