I appreciate being allowed back to Senior Forums. I missed you and many people here. As humans we don't always agree but then we can have things in common that unite us. Thank you!:love_heart:

Welcome back everyone :wave: I had noticed an influx of old friends recently :grouphug:

A few weeks ago Admin shut down the entire Political Forum for 24 hours because it had gotten too intense and felt a break would be good for everyone to cool down. It was brilliant! It helped me get myself in check. It's heating back up now with the recent protests. I think it would be good to do the 24 hour time-out every so often for politics. I have a hard time backing away on my own because I'm addicted I guess. I try :rolleyes:

It's good for us all to step away and get grounded...and then return with a clearer and more controlled perspective...speaking for myself mostly. It's a difficult world we all deal with now.

Admin is paying a lot of attention to this site and cares. Thank you :rose:
 
I'm glad you are back Ruthanne and Happyflowerlady.
When posters are no longer here I always wonder if they are okay and if they will return.
Admin here do a great job of being fair. Many thanks to them for this forum.

Thanks Raven. Yes Admins are doing a wonderful job and I know it is not an easy job.
 
The more the merrier!!!! I agree that the moderators on SF have done a commendable job keeping we "senior juveniles" in check! :>) Most of us probably cannot remember what we typed yesterday, anyway!! There is so much to see, do, and be involved in on SF... Way more than I have time for. (Some probably breathe a sigh of relief for that!)

At our ages, we have traveled the roads where we've had to be in "authority". We've disciplined, advised, and scolded our kids. We've held jobs where we have been required to be in control of a work force and handle "interesting" personnel matters. We've had years of experience expressing our feelings and opinions. We retire, join an on-line discussion board, and are suddenly tossed into a group of great folks who have experienced the very same life challenges as we have. Sometimes it's tough to be questioned when we've had to maintain control. Sometimes we may feel a like no one is listening to us and we're simply trying to make certain they understand our way is the ONLY way!!! :>)

The members of SF are phenomenal! The moderators of SF are even better!! Welcome back to any of you returning to join in the discussions.
