Talking about legwarmers and leotards and that sort of thing. It was probably back in the 80's when I used to attend an aerobics class at the dance studio near where I worked. There was a shop downstairs which sold everything you needed to be the star of the aerobics class and, it was there that I spotted the yellow ensemble. I bought the whole shabang; leotard, tights, leg warmers and head band. I loved that outfit. It was only in retrospect that I realised that, in all likelihood, I had probably looked like a demented banana

No, I did enough fluffing, teasing and scrunching in the 80's thank you very much.
I was also one of those who wore frilly socks with heels and lace gloves.
To be completely honest with you, from the back view, I couldn't tell who was male and female.

The leotard yes - although that one is a deeper yellow - but, the aerobics gals (there were no boys in the class) all wore one colour outfits - no mixing and matching, I mean, that would have been really silly
