The Benefit of Losing Your Memory

I've decided that losing your Memory isn't such a bad thing.I'll give you an example. I can't find anything on Television now that interests me.
I also loved "Law and Order", "Cold Case", "Medium" etc. I found a channel that airs old episodes of these shows. I watch them all the time and even though I know I've watched them before, I don't remember them now.I'm still looking to see if I can find, "Dexter" and "The Mentalist". So Whoopie I'm happy I lost my memory.

Sassy--Dexter is available on Netflix and Showtime On Demand. It's also on Amazon Prime video for free, if you have a Prime membership.

I'm sure you meant your post in jest, but I don't see any upside to memory loss. :(

ETA: CORRECTION, Dexter is no longer available for free on Amazon Prime. Sorry!!

Dad didn't mind the memory loss. Said that it was great to see a different woman cooking breakfast every morning when he came downstairs.

Thank you C'est Moi, I do have Amazon Prime and I'll be looking for Dexter right away. And as for memory loss,my Mother didn't remember that my Dad had passed away,a few years after he died. She always thought he was at work.

Well, apparently Dexter is no longer free on Prime, Sassy. I apologize for steering you wrong. It's free if you have Showtime on Prime. (I see there is a 7-day free trial of Showtime on Amazon Prime, so you might go that route!!)

That's sweet and sad about your mom, Sassy. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I'll check out the free trial on Amazon. And I wish you a Wonderful Thanksgivng.

I tentatively tried Amazon Prime, just for the free shipping, and was delighted at how good their streaming channel is. IMO, it has much better movies and series than Netflix or any of the others. Easily worth the $10 a month.

I got an email from Comcast (Xfinity) a few days ago; they are about to include Prime Video on their lineup. Already they have Netflix, so I can just say "netflix" into my remote and voila'! I'm excited that Prime will be on Comcast, too.

Sassy, I don't think you are losing your memory. Our minds always prioritize what is important to remember and what isn't, and I don't think TV plots are high on the priority list. I can be watching an old episode of something and realize it as vaguely familiar, maybe, but don't really remember the episode. I don't think my memory is going, or yours, either. We just have more important things to remember than old Law and Order episodes.
