Were they nice people ?I knew Neil Diamond's parents, @StarSong! You're in the business so were they. They had a schmatta shop in Brooklyn named 'Diamonds.' Lucky name!
They were funny, they were characters. Just knew them like forever, didn't realize the connection to Neil for years afterwards! Speaking of Neil:Were they nice people ?
..I'm sure that they would never imagined once their son got super famous that by the time he was in his 80's , because of a pandemic he would be giving concerts from his home..They were funny, they were characters. Just knew them like forever, didn't realize the connection to Neil for years afterwards! Speaking of Neil:
2 blocks from Diamond's was Sedacca's. They sold hot dogs by the beach and were Neil Sedaka's family! Everyone knew them for years & years.
...so sad that he now has PD....How could I have forgotten to mention Neil Diamond. Such a great voice and body of work!
