I would never take it after I've seen what it does to celebrities...

Example Sharon Osbourn....

...experts are now calling it the Ozempic face.. which gives a distinctive look to anyone using the weight loss drug

One of my lady friends has been using it for a couple of months now, and she has been sick as a dog. She takes it weekly. I think she has finally had a breakthrough though, this past week she was able to take her shot with no adverse side effects. She's lost 10lbs. As of last week, she's sticking with it.

I don't need it thank God, but neither did Sharon or many of the others...but they took it thinking it would be a quick fix back to slimland..when they were much younger..they didn't necessarily have Diabetes..

I know for a fact that you're correct when you mention the sickness, because Sharon herself said.. that the Ozempic made her sick..sick as a dog, for about 3 months every single day , and she told me this herself..

Now her own daughter, kelly rather than run when she saw what it did to her mother, followed in her footsteps, and now has that same look...

Taking this drug and that drug to lessen essential tremor shaking--receiving very little help, just unpleasant side effects, which meant going through weeks of miserable titrating withdrawal, I've become leery of taking ANY medication.

Sharon Osborne has had so much work done on her face that she looks like a freak. Not sure how much can be attributed to Ozempic. I don't recognize the people in the other photos, so no idea what they looked like before taking the meds.

Rapid weight loss often results in a gaunt appearance, particularly as we get older.

Would I take Ozempic? Maybe if I were somewhat overweight and diabetic, or considerably overweight and pre-diabetic. Fortunately, I'm none of the above.

I understand you, because I also had to take drugs for a very short while when I too was diagnosed with BET..some years ago...I hate being on drugs so I soon came off them, and eventually the BET went away... and I rarely get it now...

well it's true she has a had a lot done to her face, but the ozempic really has done a number on her face ....

When I was in my forties, obese, I started a regimen of jogging back and forth from my living room to my kitchen & ate no more than around 900 calories a day. Lost weight fast. Kept it off for about 4 years. Slowwwly gained it back as the years went by. Too old & tired to repeat. :D

What gets me is the prescription medication commercials where they show people engaged in fun activities and all smiles while the voice-over reads the side effects. It's depicting one thing and telling another. Also, the disclaimer says to not take it if you're allergic to it. Howya gonna know that beforehand?

Some "send away for" medications advertised have an actor dressed in scrubs or a lab coat and stethoscope relating all the virtues of the product. It makes you assume it's good if you think a pretend doctor recommends it.

none of that is allowed here..no commercials for drugs or drug companies allowed...

She has looked like that since long before Oh No No Ozembic came along. Ozzy wanted a woman that was a freak show reject and he found one in her.

I absolutely would not take Ozembic. In fact, I told my first Doc here that since she was insisting I take it that she would have to get her kickbacks from somebody else and found another Doc.

Yes, I feel bad for them. I don't understand continuing to take a medication that is making you ill.
If, my arthritis drugs do this, I stop. To each their own.

I wouldn't take it. But I generally don't take any prescription meds other than antibiotics as needed. If needed, I would substitute a diet/exercise regimen for any prescription a doctor suggested (other than antibiotics) first before relying on a prescription designed to be taken for life. I do take OTC drugs like ibuprofen, but even that I minimize by consuming over a pound of fresh ginger root each week. I take melatonin, valerian root (for sleep) and saw palmetto, vit D, vit C, and zinc on a regular basis.

I used to think all that natural stuff was all nonsense but big difference it made for me with arthritis in one hip and though never tried ginger it was recommended as anti inflammation .

A lb is a lot but as you know often the pill versions are inadequate as tiny amount , you grow it yourself ?
