The eternal question.....Did men walk on the Moon?

There are more than 1500 talk radio stations in the country and there is nothing they like better than a good conspiracy theory. That is not to say I believe everything that is thrown at us.

I used to listen to Art Bell when I couldn't sleep. It was a mixture of the interesting and the absurd.
I started listening right after George Noory took over. (I don't know how to spell his name)

It was mostly anecdotal, which was entertaining, but there were also some really interesting discussions.

Art Bell.....I listened to him as well!

I took a Geology course in college called "Space Exploration" and it was all about going to the moon and what geologists found there in terms of meteor impact and how it helped answer some questions about meteor impact sites on the earth.

There seems to be solid evidence that there was multiple moon landings. Of course, no one is forcing anyone to believe that. If you don't want to believe we landed on the moon, even in view of the substantial evidence; then it's useless to continue the conversation.

Solid evidence where? Well show me!

That sounds like a perfect waste of someone's time.

Of course there is the eternal question: "Why would 'they' do that?"
Easy answer....arrogance, "we are the first and only ones in history to have been there!!" And, the Moon is made of cheese, as they found out lol!

Oh thank God, thanks for clarifying that, one never knows these days, especially in a thread like this. ;)
Hey, you have to laugh in this crazy world...to keep from...going crazy lol!! I'm not a comedienne, but a retired music instructor.

I do too, and the government to this day, continues their lies, and continues to waste money on space exploration when there is enough of a mess here on earth to deal with, rather than wasting time and money in space, where no life dwells, and never will!
Your talking about wasting money on space exploration. That may be true but think about the waste in human lives and resources fighting wars.

The moon should be used as a place to dump recyclables that China is no longer accepting.

We could create our own greenhouse effect on the moon by covering it it plastics!
I think we make enough mess without spreading it even farther afield.
Although if we could shoot it into the sun, but no, we should solve the problem here on earth with sensible population control and other measures.

Fly Me to the Moon, a recent film in the theaters, goes from romantic comedy at the start to madcap mayhem at the end, and takes a hilarious look at the fake moon landing conspiracy theories.

I think men went to the moon. What I question is what we saw broadcast on TV actually was from the moon or staged on a set. What made me wonder was when the lunar module took off to join up again with the orbiter, the camera panned up. I mean, who was there to operate the camera?

For crying out loud. Men did walk on the moon! There's absolutely no proof that it didn't happen. No reason that anyone should doubt it. Stop listening to all of these conspiracy nut jobs. What's next? George Washington wasn't our first president? It was Daniel Boone? Adolf Hitler was Winston Churchill's Siamese twin? The French never have us the Statue of Liberty? They gave us French toast and the French kiss?
