I am of the SILENT GENERATION .....whatever it means.....

It means we were the war kids, hawkdon. Remember the propaganda posters we began seeing in the late 30s throughout wwii telling us to be silent? It meant ships were sunk, or troops killed if we talked about anything we knew.
