It's pretty huge... more like a sectional sofa. lol! However I think there are only a few that are REALLY interested in running. The others are simply promoting a book, or themselves in the area of increased $$ for speaking fees.

In the serious category I put

Huckabee..... Although, he does have a book he is promoting.. the God, Guns, Grits and Gravy thing.. But he did quit his gig at fox, so maybe.

Rick Santorum.... He's out to save the unborn again... What else is he interested in?

Scott Walker... hoping his felony investigation and poor record in Wisconsin won't be noticed.

Rick Perry.... oooppppps!

Ron Paul.... a Libertarian in Republican clothing

Bobby Jindal... poor bobby... what can I say

Marko Rubio... The Hispanic that hates Hispanics

Ted Cruz... Our only Hispanic Canadian.... who also hates Hispanics by the way.

In the out to promote a book, or themselves category:

Sarah Palin.... she's just trying to be relevant again.
Ben Carson.... Book promoter and token.
Donald Trump..... HOW many times has this one threatened to run and pulled out.

All of the above do NOT worry us in the least... in fact we are looking forward to watching them kill one another in the primary.

On the other hand.. IMO there are only three that cause liberals to flinch a little.

Jeb Bush
Mitt Romney
Chris Christy

Fortunately, the far right will never let them win the primary as they are super focused on the cast of crazies tumbling out of the clown car in Iowa.. only Christy showed up.. Jeb and Mitt passed on it. So now we will see if the establishment Republicans who really want to win the election can prevail over the far right wing Base.. The way I believe they see it is .. Jeb is too Moderate. Mitt is last weeks meatloaf. and Christy hugged President Obama after Hurricane Sandy... the ultimate sin. lol!!

LOL....nailed it again, QS.

I read that Mitt and Jeb met somewhere to talk.....maybe they are going to team up??

IMHO, Chris belongs with the oops crowd.

2016 is shaping up to be another year in which we get to chose between two Mediocre candidates. The Republican choices, at present, are far from inspiring, and it appears that the Democrats are waiting for Hillary Clinton to make her "official" announcement....."Tweedle Dee, vs., Tweedle Dumb".

I would hardly put Hillary in the Tweedle category... but I do agree we need to run a few more Progressives against her in the Primary.. Otherwise how will the Progressive platform be discussed and debated and brought out for public knowledge? I would LOVE to see Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden and some others jump into the Primary.. If for nothing else than to drag Hillary a little bit more to the Left than she already is. She is way too much of a Hawk for most of us and a tad too Corporatist. We need to get her talking about Middle Class issues and how she is planning to help.

Hey, QS where's Ron Paul on your list?

Thanks.... forgot all about him.... Not sure about Paul... He's less crazy than his father that's for sure.. The Libertarian mindset usually has large appeal to the college crowd... but I think it's more for the smoking dope and no rules aspect. If you give Ronnie a few minutes.. it isn't long before the crazy bubbles to the surface though. We have to keep in mind... there never has been a true Libertarian government.... That worked... Somalia comes to mind..

I've added him to my list.. Thanks again..

I would agree with Elizabeth Warren...she appears to be one of the Very Few in Congress who seems to be genuinely concerned about the plight of our Middle Class. Hillary is all about "Ego", and about the Only positive she has is having Bill Clinton for an Adviser.

The trouble is that Paul isn't a doctrinaire libertarian. He seems to have a large assortment of political skills, has made some compromising gestures to show that he's flexible and he's acting like he's very serious about getting the nomination. In some ways I'm more concerned about Paul than I am the three biggies.

You may be right... I agree he is serious, but I still say that if given a chance to talk, eventually, the Libertarian comes out..and some pretty damaging things come out. He isn't as blatant about is as his dad though.. so perhaps we should move him into the category of Republicans giving Liberals a flinch... I'm on the fence about where he belongs..
