Yeah, great, a bunch of millionaires slapping each other on the back with congratulatory statues, and such. No thanks!
FWIW, the Grammys and Oscars have always been rigged, at least from the time when Billboard and Variety came on the scene. Check them out going into voting time for nominations: The folks who get nominated, and later win, wage multi-million dollar ad campaigns asking for votes. It's disgusting to see, but you quickly realize what's going on.
With all due respect to fans, do you really think Swift and Streep win as often as they do because they're actually great? No way! Take a look at their numerous pages of full page ads, right around nomination time. If you think their money stops with the ads, and is not thrown around with the final vote entities, then I have some swamp land in Florida to sell you that just can't lose!
